†Come and See
Lyrics: Anna M. Molgard
Music: Anna M. Molgard and Rachel P. Mohlman
Flute: Maren Crowley

Good tidings of joy abound.
The angels are all around us rejoicing,
The day long foretold has arrived at last.
The time of rejoicing is never past.
Come witness Messiah's resplendent day,
Come with us and see where He lay.

Come and see,
Come and see!
Come witness the miracle born on this day.
Make haste as you travel and do not delay.
Come savor the light that ascended this morn.
Come and see, Christ the Lord is born.

Go carry the word abroad.
He has come the beloved Son of God.
The Light that was promised shines bright today.
The heavens have opened and shown us the way.
Come witness Messiah's triumphant morn.
The Savior, hosanna, is born.

Come and see,
Come and see!
Come witness the miracle born on this day.
Make haste as you travel and do not delay.
Come savor the light that ascended this morn.
Come and see, Christ the Lord is born.

Come and see,
He lives today.
Come and hear His word.
The clear, pure hope of the Light of the World,
Come and see!
Come and see!

Come and see,
Come and see!
Come witness the miracle born on this day.
Make haste as you travel and do not delay.
Come savor the light that ascended this morn.
Come and see, Christ the Lord!
Come and see, Christ the Lord is born.

*Mary's Lullaby

†Lullaby
By J. Frederick Keel

Sleep little Baby, I love Thee, I love Thee.
Sleep little King, I am bending above Thee.
How shall I know what to sing?
How shall I know what to sing,
Here in my arms as I swing
Thee to sleep?

Hushaby low,
Rockaby so,
Hushaby low.

Kings may have wonderful jewels to bring.
Mother has only a kiss for her King,
Only a kiss for her King.

Why should my singing so make me to weep?
Only I know that I love Thee, my little one, sleep!

Hushaby low,
Rockaby so,
Hushaby low.

Matthew 2.1-11

Last Rehearsal Thursday 7pm

Dear friends,

We will hold our last rehearsal this Thursday at 7pm at the Mojave chapel.

What to wear for the performance
The plan is to go with white, black, or red solids. But if you don't have anything in this palette, please come and sing anyway.

Poinsettias
We will decorate the stand with poinsettias for next Sunday's performance. We plan to purchase them all from Olson's nursery on Saturday: they cost $5.50 each, are 14-16" tall and you can choose red or variegated. If you would like to buy one or some (they make great gifts for visiting teaching) please bring a check or cash to Thursday's rehearsal. We will take your order then you can take them home after the performance.

Program
The program is coming together. I'll give you a rundown of the congregational hymns and the rest of the program at Thursday night's rehearsal.

Thanks for all your support,
-Corry

Zephaniah 3
14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Welcome

Welcome to this page for the Edgemont South Stake Women's Christmas Chorus!

The closest I ever come to "praying always" is around Christmas and Easter when my mind is filled with sacred music.

I've put links to the music we plan to sing below. You can also see all the rehearsal times.

The rehearsals and the fireside will take place at the Mojave chapel. My wife, April, will organize and supervise a nursery during rehearsals.

Finally, if you would like reminders and updates sent to your email, sign up by entering your address on the right.

Please join us!

-Corry Cropper
